As an Addressing Analyst, you will be responsible for providing front-facing customer service (counter, meetings and field inspections), Alberta Land Titles Office (LTO) reconciliation, and permitted address approvals as defined by the Addressing Bylaw. As a file owner, the focus of the position is on new address assignments and data integrity, including accountability for the end-to-end process. Primary duties include:

Approve and complete permitted address assignments for land parcels and structures in accordance with the Addressing Bylaw, Addressing guidelines, and Addressing Data Services procedures.
Conduct field inspections in response to inquiries, complaints, and/or address file issues.
Respond to public inquires relating to The City of Calgary addressing.
Link land title data from LTO to subdivision plans and LTO Instruments (Separation of Title, Consolidations, and Condominium projects).
Update and maintain the Citys official addressing database (POSSE) and associated Building Repository GIS (Geographic Information Systems) spatial data.
Maintain Council approved Land Use Districts, Allowable Uses, and Bylaw Amendments in POSSE.
Ensure that the rules laid out in Addressing Bylaw 67M86, Addressing Reference Guide, and the Municipal Naming Policy are applied.

Qualifications
An Applied GIS Degree or related field that includes courses in Esri ArcGIS Software and a minimum of 2 years customer service experience with direct public contact; OR
A degree in Urban Planning, Geography, GIS or a related field and a minimum of 1 year experience using Esri ArcGIS Software.
Previous experience working with construction drawings is considered an asset.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word), Adobe Acrobat and POSSE.
Success in this position requires the ability to work effectively with the general public, sound judgement, strong attention to detail and effective customer service skills.

Compensation: Pay Grade 8 $33.79 - 45.19 per hour
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with one day off in a 3 week cycle.
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
