As a Customer Service Representative you will provide excellent customer service to your clients and manage a range of transactions, while working in a fast paced environment. Primary duties include:
Accept various payment methods for admissions, program registrations, pass sales, bookings, and rentals.
Process program registrations and sell passes.
Provide information to customers both in person and over the telephone.
Process financial transactions, prepare bank deposits and complete cash reconciliation.
Conduct facility tours for new and potential customers.
Perform lifting and carrying demands for tasks such as setting up and taking down tables and chairs, storage of equipment for public use, parties, bookings and programs.
Monitor recreation services activity areas to ensure rules and regulations are followed and a safe environment is maintained.
Clean program rooms as required.
Provide basic first aid as required and support emergency response.
Working Conditions: This position requires the ability to lift up to 20 kg as it includes some heavy and awkward lifting when setting up equipment (such as badminton nets and bouncers).
A High School diploma or equivalency (e.g. GED) plus at least 1 year of experience in a fast paced customer service environment.
Current Standard First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) level C , and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications.
Experience in a recreation centre and cash handling will be considered assets.
You demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills.
A security clearance will be conducted.

Compensation: Pay Grade 5 $27.98 - 37.40 per hour
Days of Work: This position works various day, afternoon, evening
and weekend shifts, including holidays.
Hours of work: Part-Time positions work 10 hours per week.
