Job Description

Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be a demonstrated team player with strong communication skills and multi tasking skills, have experience in Natural Gas Upstream Operations and is known for their strong leadership and professionalism.

The Manager, Corporate Services will be an energetic professional who doesnt mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people. This position involves regular interaction with the Senior Executives, Field Operators, Subcontractors, suppliers, and employees.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions of the office.

Assist the Finance Manager in preparation of financial statements, Chart of accounts, etc.

Process payroll and employee benefit administration, input employee hours, new hire packages/contracts.

Process invoices for approval and track/manage payment status.

Assist with the implementation of all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental programs, policies and procedures.

Collect and prioritize discussion items for meetings, prepare agendas and meeting minutes, follow up on action items from Executive meetings.

Maintain confidentiality of projects, meetings, information and correspondence.

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office; manage relationships with vendors, service providers, management of the phone system, internet, ordering of office supplies, and other duties / projects as required.

Act as the first point of contact for internal IT Support

Provide support of hardware (laptops, printers, scanners), software (MS Office 365 and internal applications), etc.


Degree in Business or related field of study from a recognized university or a combination of education, training and experience

10-15 years business administration experience including HR and IT

Excellent communication skills; proficiency in both written and verbal English is essential.

Team player capable of contributing operationally and cooperatively as a member of the management team.

Proven professionalism, integrity and high personal standards as demonstrated by their actions, personal interactions and deliverables.

Prior experience with Qbyte FM, ENERGYLINK, Petrinex would be considered an asset.
