Mogo is looking for a strong leader and advocate to help further our goals of embracing collaboration and best practices across our product engineering organization. This means collaborating closely with our Development, Architecture and Operations teams at all levels to foster successful partnerships to drive the design, development, testing and implementation of CI/CD solutions.

What youll do:
Lead and mentor our growing DevOps team and foster an atmosphere of support and encouraged learning.
Leverage the team to help educate members of our engineering organization in best practices as well as leading by example in implementation where required.
Play a lead role in determining the technical direction of solutions including the orchestration/automation of system configuration, application deployment and configuration, performance engineering and cloud deployments/management.
Accurately scope multiple concurrent project requirements and manage delivery timelines,
understand delivery requirements, identify process and knowledge gaps and work to bridge them.
Clearly understand business and technology dependencies and work with cross-functional teams to assist in delivering products in a timely manner produce and maintain technical project plans

What youll need:
3+ years relevant experience in a leadership role within a product engineering organization
5+ years hands-on experience in Software Engineering
Extensive experience with automation using scripting languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, Go, PowerShell, Bash) as well as configuration of IaC automation (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Packer, InSpec)
Extensive experience with VCS (e.g. Git, Subversion) and utilizing them with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Buildkite)
Experience with solutions relating to application logging, performance monitoring, incident alerting, access control, and code validation
Experience with setting up and using cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
Experience with using container orchestration platforms (e.g. Kubernetes, Openshift, EKS, GKE, AKS, Amazon ECS, Azure Container Service, etc.)
Experience with web application infrastructure configuration and operations (e.g. TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, HTTP/2, DNS, routing, load balancing, CDNs, etc.)
Adaptable to a changing and fast paced environment
