Job Description

GP Heavy Machinery is a local professional demolition company based in Coquitlam, B.C. We have over 25 years of experience specialized in demolition, drain tile, road work, and earth work. We offer impeccable work for various types of residential and commercial projects delivering hassle free projects without environmental issues. We are equipped to deal with challenges and difficulties in design and scenarios. Our company is expanding our services portfolios in building and construction and is experiencing an increased demand for our professional staffs.

Were seeking two experienced Project Managers in the delivery of our high-profile projects on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual obligations. Applicants experience must include significant design and project management for multidisciplinary construction projects or assignments.

Main Duties:
Determine Clients desires and goals of the project
Review architectural plans or other design specs
Preparing building layout plan and utilities plan routing
Write up proposals and estimates budgets including materials and decoration of plan
Responsible for project oversight
Provide consistent regular project updates to the crew and client
Access project and layout specifications, cost estimates and timelines
Ensure necessary permits required prior to completion of any work
Source necessary materials for projects
Responsible for quality control & assessment on works
Site management
Liaison with consultant and sub-consultant
Work to maintain project budget, communicating status to Clients regularly
Ensure all inspections are scheduled and completed

Requirements and Other Qualifications:
Diploma, college degree or trade certificate
Minimum 3 years relevant experiences
Must read and interpret blueprints, construction codes and design documents
Able to develop construction drawings for the construction
Proficient in drafting software, excel and Microsoft word
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, be self-motivated, and be capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities

Salary: $40 per hour

Hours of Work: 40 hours a week
