The Opportunity:
Senior specialist in Manufacturing Systems, with relevant expertise implementing the SAP system and other software applications within shopfloor environments, with activities that include functional/operational business requirement specifications, solution design, data integration architecture, technical configuration, solution delivery and operational system support.

A snap shot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do:
Build relationships and communicate with plant operations leadership and floor personnel, regularly, effectively and timely.
Deliver system solutions related to manufacturing shopfloor applications and process automation, including full system lifecycle of business process requirements gathering, solution design and build, end-to-end system integration with user acceptance testing, and go-live.
Ensure project methodology compliance creating systems libraries, through development and maintenance of project documentation, configuration documentation, standard operating procedures, and other documentation as required during and after executing the various implementation tasks.
Participate in regular facility / site visits focusing on continuous improvement opportunities, in-depth understanding of business process requirements, challenges and issues and providing post implementation support.
Prepare material and provide training to production floor personnel.
Provision for after-hours emergency support in the event of a critical system failure.

What you will bring:
Excellent communication and leadership skills are a major requirement for this role.
Must have a minimum of 5 years in similar role, with industry experience implementing Manufacturing Solutions with SAP. Knowledge of other similar applications is a big plus (examples: Wonderware, Siemens, GE, Rockwell/ Factory Talk).
Industry and or Technical Certifications in SAP and others would be a major benefit.
Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods, Food/ Beverage Processing or Pharmaceutical Industries highly desired.
Strong knowledge in the design, configuration, and testing of applications.
Strong understanding of integration procedures of systems with production equipment.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL tools is a major plus.
Familiar with using and setting up computer equipment commonly used in production areas (example: HMI stations, barcode printers, scanners, scales)

Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering.
Certifications in manufacturing technology preferred.
