VistaCare Communications Integrated Communications Solutions (ICS) Division has grown into a premier contractor and integrator for businesses and government departments across the Maritime provinces for communications cabling, security & life-safety and Pro Audio-Visual projects. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Coordinator to join our division in Bedford, Nova Scotia for a permanent position on a full-time basis.

Under the direction of the divisional Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all CSS inventory and warehouse needs and the associated documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Shipping, receiving, pick-ups and deliveries;
Create purchase orders and order materials for jobs;
Match purchase orders to sales orders and prepare materials for jobs;
Sign off on materials for invoicing, organize and ship material orders in an accurate manner;
Track orders are required;
Organize stock and maintain inventory levels;
Track inventory in JONAS software using serial numbers;
Perform regularly scheduled; inventory audits;
Deliver orders to customers and/or technicians at job sites;
Organize the warehouse space and maintain a tidy and hazard free space;
Notify operations of any problems or delays in material orders;
Receive trucks and unload merchandise;
Maintain supplier relations;
Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the warehouse operations;
Follow all Safety Policies and Procedures as outlined in the VC Safety Manual;
Other related duties as assigned by the manager.

Knowledge and Skills:
Strong organization and problem-solving skills
Effective communication with staff and management
Ability to build strong working relationships
Knowledge of computer programs and related equipment
Self-motivated and adaptable

Experience Required:
Minimum of five (2) years experience in warehouse operations
Shipping/Receiving
Proactive Inventory Tracking and Auditing practices
Qualified in Fork lift training, first aid, and fall protection
Preference will be given to candidates with warehousing experience in the telecommunications industry

Additional Requirements:
Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on emergency call outs as required
The successful candidate will be required to pass a criminal record check
